Dedication to Education

The Big Brain Edition includes an additional 8 card stands, 2 GIGANTIC Reference Cards, and 42 Big Brain Clue Cards.

Okay before you say “NERDS!” out loud, hear me out. Imagine you’re in math class (this could be awhile ago, bare with me) and you’re listening to Mrs. Nickels talk about multiplication again (boring, I know). She calls on you and asks what the product of 6 and 7 is. You panic and can’t think of the answer on the spot. Now imagine you’re in a heated game of cracking codes, and you know on your partners next turn they’re going to crack your code. Your only hope is figuring out their last digit, which is the product of 6 and 7. Think you’ll be able to recall now that your life depends on it?

All jokes aside, Big Brain is a great way to take your skills to the next level. If it’s been years since Mrs. Nickels’ class and you’re looking for a challenge with simple addition I’d recommend the base game to you (Code Crackers). With both games, you’ll use critical thinking and deductive reasoning, with a chance to fine-tune both skills over multiple games.

Before we even realized this game could be great way to become a genius with numbers, our first goal was fun. We wouldn’t produce a game that was too difficult, and that’s why we play tested it with other families. While testing, we recognized how engaged both the kids and parents were. The kids were begging to play a new game and adults were eager to help their young ones outsmart their opponent. Both versions are a great addition to your family fun night or school curriculum.

Warning: Big Brain requires 7,329x more brain power. After testing, we recommend the Big Brain edition for ages 12+, while the base version of the game is perfect for kids as young as 8!
