Our Story

The founders of Barndoor Games holding their first game, Code Crackers.

Brandon and Angelina hatched the idea for Barndoor Games while living in Flagstaff, AZ. Combining a love of games with a passion for education, our first game Code Crackers was born!

Barndoor Games are designed to be fun for the whole family. Unlike most games that target only kids or only adults, our games are engaging for any age - from kids to parents to grandparents (games not tested with great-grandparents yet).

We aim to develop family-oriented games that engage everyone during those cherished family evenings. We believe that the most memorable moments arise from collective experiences of sharing, learning, and growing together at the family table.   • Whether you’re having family fun or a date night, Code Crackers is exhilarating for all ages (Given that you can add numbers between 0 and 10!)

  • Takes less than a minute to set up and 20 minutes to play. The game is extremely portable with dimensions of approximately 6”x4", and weighing in at about less than half a pound. This makes it perfect for sticking in your purse or backpack to take to a friend's house or your favorite coffee shop.

  • A big part of development for us was creating a game that is incredibly easy to learn for any age. The game is just as easy to teach as it is to learn - and just as quick too! Our instruction video is proof of this at just under four minutes long. This means less time explaining the rules, and more time spent having fun and cracking codes!
